Our machinery includes a Takisawa 9 Axis lathe. Some of the advantages of our 9-axis lathe are as follows:
1. Most parts can be machined complete in one set-up.
- The Takisawa 9 axis lathe has twin synchronized spindles allowing first and second operation machining to be completed accurately and quickly.
- This 9 Axis Lathe is capable of 14" diameter, 30" length and capable of bar feeding 4'.
- The parts catcher and conveyer allow lights out operation.
- Set-up costs and lead times can be reduced.
2. Complex parts can be machined effortlessly.
- The Takisawa 9 axis lathe also has a machining center style spindle at the upper tool position with a tool change for 30, 60 or 90 tool option, for KM or Capto tools.
- The 9 axis repetition is capable of producing parts that involve turning, milling, threading, knurling, etc. with ease.
- The spindle has a 10 inch Y axis movement and a B axis of 230 degrees.
